Death is the most common and deepest fear of the human psyche. Contemplating death is a big part of Bhutanese culture and has done wonders for their relationship with it. In this meditation, we attempt to find peace in our ultimate destiny and utilize it to help us live life to the full.

Mortality
Death is inevitable. But facing death without fear is embracing this reality as a constant reminder to treasure each moment of life and to bring my lifeโ€™s purpose into fruition. I am grateful for each waking day as an opportunity to experience all that life has to offer. For it is in learning that I grow and in death that I celebrate a life well lived with a soul that is eternal. Namaste. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’š

Passing
A friend, a good friend died this morning of a heart attack and complications from leukemia. He was my sponsor in recovery, a motorcycle riding brother and a man of wit. I shall miss him and his companionship. R.I.P. Whit, see you later.

I don't only live once. I live every second of every day. Beautiful words making me feel comfortable with the subject of death.

Letting go of fear
I gained a new perspective regarding death. Since it is at the top in terms of fears, we need to make peace with it. Pushing the thought of death away as I have done for years hinders my ability to reach my destiny. To live each moment in peace and love. This is a deep topic. I feel open to following what I've learned here and include death as something I think about while meditating. I've let go of so many things already to free myself of them. I have a strong sense of wanting to learn, to soak it all in. To deepen my understanding of many concepts. This session really opened my eyes to how I should be handling the fear of death that's been tucked away inside me. It can benefit me immensely to learn to be able to make peace with death. I've grown so much since my last reflection on this wonderful session. I'm sending thoughts to you, Alex, of abundance and joy in your life. You've chosen a life path of sharing your spirituality and teachings to lead me and countless others to a life filled with happiness, peace, freedom, and abundance. The words thank you don't even begin to express my gratitude for you. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
