Focus my thoughts from stressful ones to calm
It really helped me find inner peace at just the right time. My life is finally starting to de-stress again but I needed some extra motivation and this was it.

Finding calm
I can ignore anxiety in my stomach and chest by focusing on other parts of me that are not anxious. And if I have anxious thoughts I can replace them by mentally cuddling my dog tigger. By far the best meditation I have done here so far.

Not very helpful for me
I followed instructions during this meditation and although I focused on my hands which felt the least stressed and tense, the sensations of anxiety and stress felt in my head, chest, and stomach overruled no matter how many times I tried diverting my attention. Everything I've tried so far isn't working to relieve me from anxiety and stress.

This is probably my favorite little three minute meditation so far. I had a procedure done today in the hospital and I pretended that my dog was laying there with me. In this meditation she tells you that there is always something positive you can find to lean on when you don't feel so well. I'm still having some leftover achiness and icky feelings from the procedure today but as I was doing this meditation my dog was laying next to me in the bed. My leg is up against her back and that's what I focused on. My sweet June makes me feel wonderful. It made me smile. It was very positive.

A matter of choice
You can choose which to focus on: your stressors or those things/people/events that give you peace, joy and happiness.

One Thing at a Time
I appreciate being able to fixate on a single item or body part. Sometimes, we need to remember to think about only one thing, rather than 50 things at once. By truly choosing to focus on one thing at a time, we find we are more mindful both in meditation and in life.
