My favorite
This is my favorite breathing exercise. It is the easiest one for me to do. I think that is because you count and then you do the breath that way Iโ€™m able to focus purely on the breath when Iโ€™m breathing rather than trying to think about counting at the same time. I also like it because he starts easily with only four breaths at a time. I find this is something I can remember as I go about my day.

New technique
This is a new breathing technique l will try out at work tonight if needed. Counting between a complete breath in and out felt more natural and relaxing to me. The times I need to focus on breath while at work are the most difficult due to stress factors. When Iโ€™m under stress my breathing is either more labored or can be more on the shallow side just depending on the situation. If I can get my normal rhythm back and feed my body and mind with oxygen I can greatly reduce all that pent-up tension in my body.

Effective Counting Meditation
I like the counting technique but the pace seems too fast for me. It made me feel like I was racing through the meditation. I plan to try the technique while breathing more slowly.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Yes, this is beginners mind
At first I was resistant right away isnโ€™t that funny I said, I know how to count I know how to breathe. Iโ€™ve done this lots, lots lots, and then I listened freshly and began the practice which clearly is a shift from my head to breathing and surrendering.
