I learned that it’s helpful to let go of trying to remember what I learned. 😉I learned how great it is to focus on sensations in the body to quiet and focus the mind. I learned how wonderful it can be to quietly focus your attention on difficult feelings without judgement or struggle to explain or resolve. Just being aware of the raw, unlabeled emotions, curious and compassionate. Breathing and appreciating tactile sensations in the body. I enjoyed this meditation very much. 😊

I need to pay more attention
When I pay better attention to my body...when I give myself the attention I deserve...I feel more confident, stable. Not to mention it helps me tremendously with my posture. I love feeling the subtle nuisances of each part of myself. It helps me feel grounded and at home in my body.

I didn't understand this meditation at all. I was lying still and yet it was asking me to connect with Any movement. Then with Any moisture or dryness. Sorry but I just didn't get it.

Great cues for deep body awareness
I liked this exercise. Very specific prompts cool/warm, dryness/moisture really helped me take interest and discover sensation. I usually meditate when I want to let go of negative mind chatter. Today I have a lot of excited positive mind chatter. Interesting how hard it is to let go of that. And my growing Awareness of the mind chatter actually helps me see the "positive" chatter as really similar to the negative for the purposes of stilling the mind. Really fascinating!

Movement was a great cue for me, timed perfectly, bc I had been able to notice and quiet everything else. When the cue came for movement, I immediately felt my heart beating!

All the lil things that you body does when your still but it's hard to explain on a physical plane... feeling micro bubbles popping the sensations of cells moving... then a strong thankfully feeling takes over like the body said "you do notice" a Thank you or thank god! 🙂😁😌😅 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Sitting Relaxing.
As I'm sitting here relaxing hearing myself breathing. I have already had a full day. And I'm still feeling good and going strong. I am reflecting on how I was faced with a Difficult Situation. Somebody did something to me A couple months back that wasn't there a very nice. And I didn't even know that person so what I did was I knew I was going to be seeing that person often not by choice. So as I would see the person I would pretend like the person did not exist or not at all be rude to them because that's not my character. I could clearly see that the person is definitely miserable and as they say misery loves company. But today person been miserable said something out loud and I told her excuse me. I just wanted to let you know that I remember the first day that I met you and how you treated me Thank you. I saw and her face light up. I know I made her day. She didn't even realize that she was mean to me the first day I met her but that's OK.

As I laid down on my bed listening to the different sensation I learned about all the different sensation in my body warm ,cold , hard soft. I do feel frustrated sometimes but I take nice deep slow breaths to help me relax. Have a good day everyone.💞

Change is not easy
I'm trying to be more mindful with food and I'm hungry right now but it's late and so I thought I'd best to meditate. I believe the reason I have slipped previously is that I expected it to be easier than it is, and in the moments I do overcome and make progress my ego steps in and ruins my progress. It's a funny balance. Goodnight world.

I learned that it is ok to stop thinking and just settle into where my body is here and now, even if it’s just for those three minutes. Feeling instead of thinking, I need to focus more on that. 🙏🏻

Couldn't pay attention
This one totally lost me. I guess this was one I wouldn't want to repeat. I was thinking there was only one hard contact location and I was sitting on it; no I wasn't wet—why would I be wet? And yes I'm dry but does she mean too dry like my skin; that tingling sensation is me waiting to be done with this. LOL I'm older than a lot of you now and have learned this isn't a failure or success, it just is.

Short and simple practice
I've been noticing my body more and more lately...I'm concerned because I'm having some follow-up deterioration stemming from my massive stroke...my left leg has basically been pins-and-needles since the event, and lately, my left arm has been likewise losing feeling, and having that ”dead” sensation...I'm quite unhappy about this, but I understand that it’s not my body having issues...its a part if my brain which has died causing these sensations! I WISH there were something which could be done to ”fix” this issue, but I know there is nothing which can be done...this is just my body now, and I have to learn to live with it. 😢

Surprising twist: focusing on sensations that caused anxiety also lessened it
I thought that being more aware of my body sensations would only increase anxiety, considering that my stress is correlated to physical symptoms I’m feeling. I was surprised to feel a substantial decrease in anxiety after 3 minutes of focusing on these very sensations.

I learned that we can let go of scary thoughts about sensations we feel. Some sensations can be scary, but if we let go of our thoughts about those sensations, then we feel less scared. Just notice the sensations without judgement.
