Approach your diet and exercise goals with grace and self-compassion by avoiding “all or nothing” thinking. All or Nothing thinking can sabotage your progress with negative self-talk and a sense that you should give up on your goals. Stay on track with your goals by not expecting perfection and doing your best consistently daily. Please share a comment if this resonates! All Or Nothing Thinking
I learned that it is more effective to have a mindset of moderation rather than of ‘all or nothing’ because if you slip up or if life gets in the way of you pursuing your goals, you make do with what you have and practice cultivating a mindset of positivity, not perfection.

Chel was speaking directly to me!
My diet and exercise routines have always been "all or nothing" and feel that any slip-up or deviation destroys my goal and it's just over at that point. Immature? Yep. Dumb? Absolutely! It's the "perfectionist" side of my personality I'm allowing to take charge instead of seeing the while picture... "I did lose 5 lbs already, just get back on the horse," or "I've been walking daily for 2 mos. So, I missed 2 days! I'm still moving forward. I'm much more fit than I was 3 mos ago! Just get back on the horse." Thank you, Chel, for your wisdom and guidance. I needed this! 🤗💜
