In this meditation for Day Seventeen we work with the breath as a focus for our attention, whilst exploring the nature of distraction, in particular, thoughts that arise and take our attention away from the breath. This takes place in meditation with more space to practice in, and less ‘talking’ to listen to, creating a less cluttered background against which we can observe the movement of the mind.
