I learned that I enjoy a little mindful confidence and that a little confidence goes a long way. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Rewriting old tapes
Affirmations play a large part in changing who I believe I am and who I've told myself I can become. I've used positive statements many years to treat PTSD and depression. It's like rewriting old tapes that roll around in my head; telling me I can't do it, I'm worthless, that I'm going to be killed, etc. Tying the meditation practice and positive affirmations together is a practice that I will return to. I'd like more from this teacher, please. There's an opportunity to really help people. Thank you.

I have resentments...
Itโ€™s getting in the way of my meditations as of late. Not being centered and being able to be still... physically and mentally. I have to sort myself out to be able to reach the higher plane.

May I have confidence
In who I am, where I have been, and what I know. And may that confidence radiates from within, as sweet fresh water, for me, for those around me, as love.

A little different
For some reason, I feel like smoking a cigarette doing this exercise. It was really something, different, then I've experienced before doing all these exercises.

I remember ...
This meditation helped me to remember all the things I have done, things I have learned and person I have become. We get so caught up in how we feel in the present - that we forget that time is fleeting. That what we feel is not who we are.

Confidence
May I be confident in who I am, where Iโ€™ve been, and what I know! Those affirmations are so powerful!

What I know
I am so nervous! I have play auditions tomorrow night! I have to be able to do a North Carolina accent for the character I want. I have never acted before, mostly because of lack of confidence. I added the phrase: "May I have confidence in what I do." As I felt it provided some calm in what I don't doubt will be a restless night. I need to remember that the director will only believe in me if I believe in myself. So gosh darn it I will go and I will be great!

Believe
I know these things to be true at my deepest state of self but insecurity and fear of change are powerful voices. I am strong and more capable than I give myself credit for! Now, time to go create positive change in the world! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Stress
I learned how to control my stress and I feel less anxious, I do believe that itโ€™s okay to feel like this and that it is understandable. Now, when I will be stressed, I am breathing slowly and softly.
