This is a guided breath practice, based on the ancient Tao teachings, that helps develop focus and circulate energy. This expands on the first part, including a visualization.

Wonderful recharge!
I still struggle with maintaining the visualization, but I realized that this difficulty was actually keeping me totally focused during the practice. This is amazing for me as my mind usually acts like a hyperactive 2 year old, leaping from one topic to another. This 2 part practice is definitely one of my favorites!

Renewed
In this second installment of her series, circular breathing, Cassandra has us visualize a golden light going up from the base of our spine to the top of our head on our in breath and down from the top of our head through our heart and belly on our out breath. It is a very powerful breathing technique and visualization that can charge and renew ourselves with new energy. I began to feel all the points of where my feet were touching the ground as I became aware of my breath, going up my spine to the top of my head on my inhalation and down the front of body on my exhalation. The more I visualized this circular breathing technique, the more energized I was becoming. Then, out of nowhere, a golden light appeared at the base of my spine. As I inhaled, this golden light began making its trek up my spine to the top of my head and through my heart and into my belly as I exhaled. After a few rounds of visualizing this golden light circulate my torso, I began to feel as if my torso was a wheel with golden rims. Each time I inhaled, this awesome golden light began knocking out all of my old energy as it rolled up my spine to the top of my head. In between breaths, this light stopped temporarily, giving my mind clarity. As I exhaled, this light rolled on into and through my heart, filling it with warmth and kindness until it came to rest in my belly, where it illuminated with calmness. Wow, what an amazing experience! I am charged up, yet calm. My heart is full of warmth and kindness. My mind is filled with clarity. I am renewed with fresh energy! I will definitely be revisiting this meditation in the future. Thank you, Cassandra! Namaste ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโ˜ฎ๏ธโค๏ธ

Golden Light
After reading Cherishโ€™s wonderful reflection yesterday, I decided I would start my day with this meditation. A few months back I had done part 1 which was a great experience. On my inhale I visualized a golden light at the base of my spine traveling all the way to the top of my head. On my exhale, this golden light travels to the front of my body giving me renewed energy. After a few sessions of this breathing technique, I am left feeling renewed and grounded at the same time. Another wonderful meditation to begin the day with especially if you need to get rid of any old stagnant energy. I will definitely revisit this one.
