Reconnecting
I have been so busy with my husband’s graduation (he just received his second Masters Degree) that I have totally neglected self care for the past week. Doing this meditation this morning has brought me back to my center. I feel so much more in tune with myself and back in my own life again. This meditation was exactly what I needed. Thank you!

Peace through warmth & breathing
In the chaos of the busy day we need a moment to relax & remind ourselves what it feels like to have the warm sun touching our skin. Just touching my stomach reminds me of the simplicity of breathe, but the impact it can play on relaxation.

Reminded me of our camping trip. Sitting in the sun and watching the waves on Lake Michigan. Observing loons fishing. Listening to all the different bird songs. I am calm and centered.

Nourishing the soul
I did this meditation sitting outside in my backyard feeling the warmth of the sun on my face as I look up towards the sky. Breathing in nourishment...exhaling what no longer serves me. Feeling relaxed.

Nourishing...
I envisioned sitting on a beach, in a life guards chair, at sunrise. Feeling the sun warming my body... breathing in the nourishing salty air... listening to the waves and a distant seagull. I am so happy! I am smiling... (beaming actually) and radiating love out of every pore in my body. I feel as if the sun, the sea, the wind and the beach are all one with me... my pulse causing the waves, my breathe the breeze keeping the gulls floating...and my love helping the world go round! ❤️🌅🍀

While listening to this meditation, I imagined myself basking in the morning sun on my lounge chair gently gliding with the ripples created from a slight breeze in the air. Breathing in vitality and releasing any tension on my out breath, a sense of calmness began to fill my soul. I am left feeling centered, calm and at peace. It truly feels amazing to have reconnected with my soul. Namaste! 🙏🏻❤️😊

Nice exercise to encourage focus. I like placing one hand on my belly and another on my chest to feel the nourishing breath coursing inward, and releasing toxins outward.

Nice way to relax
Calming yourself by squeezing every inch of your body on the in breath and then exhaling. Pretty effective, I think.

Nourishment
This session starts out with taking a deep breath in squeezing all of your muscles in your body tightly. Then exhaling with a sigh softening your body. With one hand on my belly, imagining I am sitting in the sunshine with a smile on my face, feeling the warmth on my face which spreads throughout my body. I breathe in nourishment and vitality and breathe out anything that no longer serves me. I feel my racing mind starting to calm leaving me with a grounded feeling. I will take this visualization along with focusing my attention on my breath anytime I feel I need to nourish my spirit and calm my mind. Namaste!🙏

during this meditation i found that visualising myself upon a beach with the sun lightly shining on me very relaxing. it helped me to stay calm and feel warm hearted :)

Squeeze all the muscles in your body, holding them all tight and then relaxing and releasing on the outbreath- feel the natural rise and fall of the body through the breath

Ahhhh the tensing and release was so good
This was the first mindfulness practice I’ve done where I’ve been instructed to tense all the muscle in my body and then release them collectively with the out breath. That simple gesture made such a big difference in being able to get in the moment and pause my wandering thoughts and truly focus on the present, not all the realities that would rush back at the end of the practice. Thoroughly enjoyed that moment of separation.
