Fear
I fear someone will see me meditating at work. Maybe I could tell everyone before so that they know what I am doing.

Relaxed
I haven’t meditated for about a week. I’m about to try and have a day time sleep in preparation for my night shift tonight and meditating has already helped me to relax, especially helpful as my mind was starting to feel a little anxious and wander, it helps me control my thoughts a little more.

Breathing and Settling
Just focusing on my breathing can quiet my mind. It was good to learn that all minds wander...it is only natural and nothing that I need to chide myself about. Sometimes, I think I am the only person dealing with a monkey mind 🤔.

My first day with Aura
I felt that the session (3 mins) is perhaps a little too short. However, it could well be that a short session works well on days when I have lots to do, which in turn may encourage me to keep a continuous streak going.

Learning
Be curious, understand the world around you. Learn something new, when you stop learning you stop progressing. You don’t have to learn something challenging, something small like learning how to cook a new meal is just as important. Open your mind and always keep true to your core foundation.

Breathing and Settling
This morning I was reminded that I need to focus on breathing even if it’s for just a few moments each day especially when I’m really stressed. This is key in helping me cope with daily stressors that occur with work dealing with abusive parents, defiant children, educational demands, evaluative demands, unprofessional colleagues, parental responsibilities, home chores, relationships with my children, grandchildren and my spouse, bills to pay, and the list is endless. School and all that I bring home from teaching are my biggest stressors. Preparations for upcoming parental conferences, Report Cards, grading, Documenting Tier I and Tier II Interventions, meetings, Lesson Planning for large and small groups, differentiation of delivery, material prep... It all comes home and interferes with my home life. I’m tired of being verbally assaulted and threatened by parents! I average 3-5 calls per month the Children Youth and Families regarding neglect and abuse of my students.

The Breath is an Anchor
That we can depend on when we need to claw our way out from under all of those pesky thoughts that crowd our minds...all too often. Returning to the breath is a functional means of escaping that crowded state and decluttering. Simple, yet totally fabulous!

Day 15
Focusing on my breathing and letting go of my thoughts, and just every breath I take, clearing my head after a huge headache I had. It’s nice to just take time to myself and calm the mind.

Breathe
Value the breathes you have by giving your mental time, dedicated and conscious effort, to paying attention to it throughout the day. This ensures you get enough oxygen to the brain, remember that you are alive and well with Gods spirit in every breathe, and that you are capable of having a substantial impact on this world with a little intentionality.

Breathe in the rainbow, breathe out the storm. My breath is always there for me, even if I’m not aware or thinking about how much I rely on it. Just taking a moment to practice awareness of these movements is so helpful.

Not a breathing exercise
Paying attention to each breath, the pause at the end of the inhale, of the exhale, can be an anchor just by paying attention to how my body is already breathing. Instead of putting effort into controlling the breath, I can go about my day using my body’s automatic breathing as an anchor, to stay vigilant but without demand, trusting that my body knows how to breathe, to have control over my mind without having to control it

when taking notice of your breathe, it will be easier to let go of your thoughts, irritations, stress, etc. it’s easy to just listen to your mind and your thoughts but taking time to think about your breath can go a long way.

I learned that breathing is my anchor. It brings me down to the realities that a long as I am breathing, everything is ok. I am an over thinker and it’s nice to be aware that through it all I can still pull myself back to a moment of breathing.

It’s ok.
I learned that it’s ok to just be and accept my breath as it is. No need to be too particular about whether I’m breathing right or having to keep to a particular type of breathing. Just breathe and allow your mind to empty itself.

Come on ...
A gentle voice like this teacher’s, together with attractive advice - in this case encouragement to ‘come back to the breath’ in much the same way as one would encourage a puppy ... ‘come on, back to the breath’ - are priceless gifts in the meditation / settling process. Thank you very much

The breath is always there for you
I really liked the closing statement of the breath is always there for you, it's a reminder that you are always there for yourself. I also appreciated the way that this meditation flowed, and I was actually able to focus and meditate the entire time, as opposed to my monkey mind dancing around

Like waves on the beach
My breath is like the waves on the beach. Sometimes calm, sometimes rough - it is dictated by the body, in the oceans case by the body of water, by the moon and by the affect of the earth it rests upon. My breath is my bodies life force, it nurtures me like my soul nurtures my spiritual growth. When in unison anything can be accomplished.

In a busy stressful day I can stop and concentrate on my breathing if only for a few seconds
Focusing on breathing takes my focus off other things. I can find respite in breathing consciously. I will return to this place today as I get busy and stressed.

I really liked the line in this meditation about letting thoughts go for one breath. It’s not always easy to sit for 3 minutes and focus on breathing but taking small steps like one breath helps a lot

Breathing is an anchor
The only thing you will always have is yourself. Your body is your temple; worship it. We will always have our breath as long as we are living, focus in on it and feel your heart beating with one hand and your stomach rise and fall with the other

Breathe
Extremely soothing. This is the first session that I made sure to favorite. “Trust that your body knows how to breathe” often in sessions I try to hard to focus on my breath and making sure it’s deep enough or steady enough. This session reassured me I don’t have to focus on how to breathe, just knowing that I am breathing. Often with anxiety I can become very out of breath from short and few breaths, I’ll make sure to keep this session in mind to remind myself that I am breathing and that I am fine

Ansiedad

Breath by breath
I love this idea. You can do anything once- why not focus on one breath, promise yourself that one moment of focus, and see how it goes after that? No more of these grand sweeping promises we make to ourselves and break. Just moment by moment, knowing that you can do anything one more time.

Wondering mind is universal
Your breath is your anchor through the day. Do you really have to do a meditation every day maybe when you need it don’t neglect yourself I’m taking a quick minute or less than to help your mental self how you’re feeling is reactive to your environment and Darren permit has been extremely stressful the matter where you are in the world we all have a Continental consciously aware of each other love each other too! Pray for one another peace be with you all and God bless!

Acceptance
As we set our sails and begin our day, it’s refreshing to have an anchor (our breathing) that grounds us. I can simply accept the thoughts that enter my mind but not entertain those thoughts or allow those thoughts to continue replaying.

Breathe without auto brakes
I learned it is extremely important to fine breath (breathing) in calm situations smooth breathing seems to be constant flowing yet when I am scared or distressed I do not realize I put on my brakes in other words I stop breathing in life I (we) must not stop our breath process. Our breath is our life line support to our entire self.

Snowglobe
Thé usage of a snow globe as being akin to the mind in the sense that you cannot force it to settle, but if you give it time to by setting it down and not moving it, really resonated with me. In a way, it also gave me a comfort for my drifting thoughts. Thinking of my mind as a snow globe whose whirling snowflakes (« thoughts ») would eventually if we set the snow globe by using the breath as an anchor and enabling it rest in the process was a very helpful visual for helping me come back to my breath. Thank you for that.

Settling
I’m learning to stay in the present and not be too anxious about the future. This meditation allowed me to take a few minutes for myself to exist without worry. It’ll take some practice before I’m able to fully let go of my thoughts, and this meditation is one I’ll be coming back to for that purpose. Very calming.

Swirling and a Whirling
Tonight was one of those nights where 80% of my meditation was thoughts swirling and whirling. This reminded me of the first time I tried meditation over 3 years ago. That time I found it so hard to just stop thinking and I kept trying to force it. Back then, I thought meditation would train me to stop thoughts from swirling and would lead to them being organized. Tonight, I learned to practice patience with your thoughts when they do swirl around so that you are able to settle them.
