The bus
I learned that I get more from my mindfulness sessions when I close my eyes - today I tried it with my eyes open but got distracted by the other passengers on the bus.

Tension in the brain
Love yourself, be yourself. People are going to judge you for better or for worse but never let that affect who you are as a person

Unnoticed tenaion
I hadn’t realized how much tension is in my jaw!!! Doing this meditation, I realized just how much tension is there and now I am making an effort to notice more and breathe into that tension and let it go!

Breathing into tension
I️ hold tension in my chest and stomach when I️ feel stressed. Focusing on breathing into these places helps me relax.

Tension
I learned that I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and lower back and that’s where all my stress accumulates. Taking breathes to and from these areas helped give the illusion I was slowly unwinding and didn’t feel as bad

Tension
Great one tonight since I have tension and sore muscles. The breathing into the area of tension really helped alleviate my soreness.

Letting Go & Moving On
Focus on where the tension is and breathing into it. Life is going to throw lots at us and it’s important that in those moments we breathe. After doing this (focused on neck tension) my neck does feel better. I’ll be trying this more often

Breathing is really key
I believe that in any circumstance and situation, deep breathing truly helps relieve me of anxiety, stress, worry, and tension. It helps me relax when my mind is all over the place, running from one thought to the next. Even after 3-4 minutes of mindful breathing, I truly see a difference.
