Hello and welcome to this Zen Body Scanning Meditation. This is the first meditation of four as part of a zen meditation & mindfulness 8-week course. This should be done every day for the first two weeks. Body scanning is a deeply relaxing meditation that can help get us out of our minds and into our bodies. I hope you enjoy this first meditation of the series. After you've done this one for 2 weeks, the next meditation is 'Counting The Breath - Zen Meditation 2'

Tingling of energy
I noticed a tingling of energy moving through the parts listed in the meditation.

Zen Meditation #1
Full body scan. I'm glad I was able to fully engage. It was quite noisy outside but somehow I did it. I was deeply aware of any sensations I was feeling in each body part. I was engaged in the present moment entirely. I'm happy about that. It's time for me to commit to a daily deep meditation practice. I'm ready. It will be for 2 weeks; 25 minutes per day. I'm excited to see where this takes me! ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

This is contradictory
It was very relaxing, and I really felt the๏ฟผ sensations, I was fully focused thanks to the coach. But the music is VERY intruding, louder than his voice. That is frustrating and it DOES take away from the meditation itself.๏ฟผ

Zen body scan
I could feel each area of the body as I focused on it and eventually felt a slight buzz/hum throughout my whole body.
