State of Ease
While experiencing pain, our minds can wander into negative thoughts and our bodies tend to tense up. This meditation helps to lessen our pain by bringing our mind and body back into a state of ease.
I began to bring gentle kind awareness to the areas of my body that are hurting and breathed softly into it. I acknowledged my thoughts with a kind presence and just let them be. I returned my awareness to my whole body and began to go deeper inside. By doing this, my heart space began to expand with a warm glow that spread throughout my body. By bringing loving kindness thoughts to myself, my body has softened. My mind and body are now in a state of ease and my pain has lessened somewhat.
It is never easy being with pain, but by listening to this meditation, I have gained new tools that I can use so that I can be with pain in a mind and body that is in a state of ease. I recommend this wonderful meditation to anyone who is experiencing pain. Namaste! 🙏🏻❤️😊
