Do you live with chronic pain, if so this mindfulness meditation offers you an opportunity to be with pain in a new way. This new way is a sense of spaciousness– so rather than constrict around pain out of fear or dislike we soften and open to our feelings. This allows the pain to ease, diminish, or even disappear. In this way, we decrease our stress and allow ourselves to return to a state of ease.

State of Ease
While experiencing pain, our minds can wander into negative thoughts and our bodies tend to tense up. This meditation helps to lessen our pain by bringing our mind and body back into a state of ease. I began to bring gentle kind awareness to the areas of my body that are hurting and breathed softly into it. I acknowledged my thoughts with a kind presence and just let them be. I returned my awareness to my whole body and began to go deeper inside. By doing this, my heart space began to expand with a warm glow that spread throughout my body. By bringing loving kindness thoughts to myself, my body has softened. My mind and body are now in a state of ease and my pain has lessened somewhat. It is never easy being with pain, but by listening to this meditation, I have gained new tools that I can use so that I can be with pain in a mind and body that is in a state of ease. I recommend this wonderful meditation to anyone who is experiencing pain. Namaste! 🙏🏻❤️😊

No malice...only Love
Cindy, your meditation is difficult for me, and I must say, I thought a bit naive. I have experienced a depth of pain so deep, there are only one response: Silence! You cannot cry, nothing can be said, so you stand as a silent sentinel. Afraid and alone. Have you seen the faces of those from Dachau, Auschwitz, Soninke or Treblinka? They are afraid and...Silent. Have you read of Anne Frank? My point is NOT to criticize. Just to share a speechless pain. I will listen again. ❤️❤️❤️
