Mindfulness Meditation Teacher & Healer
Taking time to pause each day, even perhaps several times a day is like taking a mini-vacation to come home to yourself. It breaks the cycle of stress and anxiety and resets our ease of being. Please note that this meditation contains longer pauses so is an advanced meditation.

Being present
I felt distracted and could not get into this meditation. Her voice reminded me of a teacher I had that was never happy. Better luck next time.

Pause
I thought it was decent. The only problem was the pauses were long, and at first I thought the app had froze!

Present
My mind wanders a lot! I have a very hard time staying focused. I find myself thinking about other things quite frequently throughout a good majority of the meditation. I don’t always recognize it right away. It happens at varying times throughout the entire meditation.

Focus!
I have trouble maintaining my focus for even three minutes! My mind keeps wandering to and fro like it’s looking for something to latch onto.

Mindfulness
I learned that mindfulness of the present moment isn’t just being aware of your location and what you’re currently doing, it’s also being aware of your thoughts and emotions that are passing through at the time.

I felt relaxed and focused.
I learned to focus on my breathing and being calm and present in the moment. It was soothing to be still and aware. A great sense of gentle well-being.

The coming and going of breath
We don’t own it, we just keep what we need and exhale the rest, over and over and over. Namaste

Coming Hone to Your Breath
Good thought. Breathing is home to your thoughts. As our minds wander, we know we can come back to the breath to get focused once more.

Pauses
Pauses were too long. Thought she had stopped and it was over. This one did nothing for me.

Relaxing!
I was gently breathing and focusing on my breath but sometimes my thoughts stopped me. Anyway breathing and focusing on the body sensations is a great way to stay in the present!

Breathing
I noticed that a few minutes of just being and breathing calmed what had, moments before, been a scattering chattering monkey brain. I wish I could remember to sit like this whenever I am anxious, stressed, fearful. Which is why this is a practice.

Being Present
I learned that I can concentrate on my breathing and just take in a moment out of my day to realize that I can take in all things and control myself from eating too much or over reacting.

Bring the focus to the present.
I’m terrible about holding my breath. I always tense up and hold the air in my lungs until it becomes stale and useless it’s really dumb. I believe it’s the reason for my lightheadedness I experience so often when I stand up. I know that I can can change the way I deal with stress and I don’t have suffer anymore because of meditations like this one. 🌬

Being present
I have been working on increasing my awareness of times when I’m present and times when I find my mind drifting off. I am realizing that I am much more present when outdoors. It’s so much easier for me to connect with positive energy from nature and appreciate the sounds, smells, breeze, etc. When I am present I find myself being so grateful for that time, even if it’s just a moment, when any worries, tasks, or negative emotions can just melt away & leave me be in the moment.

I enjoyed the idea of focusing on the breath as a way to maintain being present in the moment.

21 breaths
It took me longer than 3 minutes to count to 21 deep breaths, I found it relaxed me and really helped me to focus on breathing and not the other worries and concerns of the day. I imagined myself by the beach, listening to the waves, timing my breathes with the ebb and flow of the rolling tides. I feel like I could do this any time I feel stressed, just go to the bathroom, close my eyes, and count for a minute to relax and steady my heart rate. I enjoyed this one!

Being Present
I noticed that staying present was quite difficult for me this evening. I kept bringing my focus back to the breath, but that happened many times in this short meditation. I was distracted earlier, as well. I remember thinking that I forgot to set an intention to stay focused. I also noticed when I had some unpleasant results from not paying attention, I forgot all about lovingkindness to myself and berated myself over and over again. Some days are easier than others.

Being Present
I have really worked on being present lately. I seem to always be living in the past or un the future. It can often ruin my happiness. It exhausts me... now is the time to just be

present
I think sometimes we get anxious because we worry so much for the things that doesn't happen yet, so we have to just be present in the moment, and the future eventually will come to us

Being Present
I learned that being present is so important and vital to our peace of mind and our happiness. There is no time like the present. This is literally a great mediation for me, truly a great reminder. I find myself either worried about the past or focused on the future and what could happen, what could I have differently and change.. to where I’m not focused on the present and just being in the moment. Take everything in and just be in the present is what I need to do more of. Cause being concerned or so focused on the past or future makes us miss the blessings, opportunities and just a little amazing things in the present that make this life so great or just add meaning to our present day to day life. We have more peace of mind and are happier when we are present and focused on the now and nothing else. Let go and let God 😌❤️🧘🏼‍♀️

More Advanced
This session I felt was geared more towards experienced users or people who meditate. It was very calm although not much guidance to focus on so I found my mind wandering a lot. A good practice in becoming more aware of your breath

I dwell in the past too much, thinking about the things I could have done instead, or what happened and how I could have prevented the unforseeable. I think too deep into the future, imagining things and scenarios that have a pretty low probability of occurring, if at all. I dream a lot too, of the possibilities that could be and all the good things I can do. But I sometimes neglect the present. Maybe more than I think. I hear it all the time: don't forget the past, but don't dwell in it either; the present is a gift; the future is filled with possibilities, but nobody knows what it entails. Maybe I should see for myself what it's like being in the moment. Otherwise I am missing out.

Pause
Breathing is so natural. If we can just pause and realize our breathing for a moment, you are living in the present moment. It feels good to be in the present moment.

I loved this!! A mini vacation just to come home to oneself!! I believe that if we fully do enjoy our own company there is so much more good we would discover about ourselves.

come home
We are so focused on everything that we have to do that we often forget to check with ourselves. Take a moment to deep breath and exhale as slowly as possible: this is your time to come home to yourself.

sensations
as this meditation went on i realised that whenever you think about a particular part of your body, you may sometimes overthink it. for example when i thought about my breath i often inhale and exhale forcefully instead of automatically. it’s a funny concept to me which has made me hope to one day be able to think about anything without overthinking it <3

Present
I learned to practice being present by focusing on the beginning and end. Do it regularly. Not perfectly.
