Burnout can build up slowly over time. It can take weeks, months, sometimes years to build up. It can slowly creep up on us without us realizing it. To avoid burnout it's important to understand the warning signs and what to look out for. The good news is that there are plenty of things you can do to help prevent yourself from reaching that burnout stage.

Avoid burnout
I have a lot going on between home and school. It can be overwhelming and exhausting. I am making my mental health a bigger priority to reduce stress and have a better year than I did last year. Thank you for this awesome session!

Micro sessions
I should take regular micro breaks between tasks. I also learned to accept that I need rest to help with my recovery.

I take breaks but doesn’t seem to work
When I feel motivated or manicy I just have all these things I need to do and feel accomplishing stuff; but then I crash even though I take breaks
