Mindfulness Teacher and Mentor
Take this time to reconnect to you, to deeply listen and sense how you are and cultivate self care. In the meditation we practice bringing a loving awareness to all that's arising within. To find out more about Carla-Jo her work please see www.carlajo-mindfulness.com Please note: If you are struggling with your mental health it's really important to seek professional help. These meditations are not a substitute for that but can be used along side therapy to help to support you. Photograph is by Kyle Cotterall on Up Splash

I feel...
I feel so relaxed from this meditation I feel like a biter cleaner person and I feel more awake even though the girls voice was so relaxing.

Always be open to other people. Let them in no matter how different they are :)

Change the piano jingle
I’m not sure where to put this but could someone please take the piano jingle that opens almost every meditation OFF? It’s so annoying when you’re trying to continuously meditate or drift off into sleep. There should be silence at the end too. At least make it an option in settings

Arriving at the moment
It seems that I am lead to this meditation again. I need to just be. To not drift off into plans or worries. Just be present.

This Moment
Arriving at this moment, look around at your surroundings and let the sounds come to you. Arriving at this moment, you realize that you can control your breath to any situation and with every out breath, your body softens, letting go of any tension. Arriving at this moment, you recognize any emotions or thoughts and can greet them with kindness. Arriving at this moment, you learn to simply be in this moment.

This moment
Taking this time to look around and look around to recognize the space I’m in for a moment helps to ground me for the coming day. Sensing the space in the room and then coming back into the body seems a great way to start the day. I am quite refreshed!

slowing down
if i slow down and allow myself to be present, even if my mind starts racing towards work i can let the thought go and bring it back to the mediation and not continue obsessing about the work think.
