I learned that it’s ok to feel disappointment or feel disillusioned or feel my forward momentum shaken or stalled. It’s an opportunity to work with difficult emotions and thoughts I may not have been aware of and a chance to practice compassion and love for myself. 😊

Going inward to fill myself.
We can't give what we don't have. This meditation reminds me that whatever I need is already within, I just need to turn inward to find it. And from that place I can then bring it to give others.

It helps to set daily goals asking yourself questions. But I found it hard to relax when I felt the opposite of everything described.

I learned that I need to work on accepting what is. I found I didn’t like any part of this and I kept fighting it. While I do want to learn mindfulness, it wasn’t what I wanted this morning. First, I struggled with the concept of a wooden ladder and then I didn’t want to climb it and I kept wondering what was holding it up and then I couldn’t imagine a light that was white and golden and it went on from there. Resistance.

I am afraid of heights but I climbed this ladder of life. I need to try to move forward instead of moving down. At the top are many rewards. I need those rewards. They are mine. I earned them.
