Finding Joy In Simple Things
We all have express joy in different ways for me I find joy in being with family and friends, in my favourite activities like reading and art
I noticed that as I focused on my joy trail my breathing became easygoing and my heart slowly started slowing down from stressful pace and my mind became calm and clear. Clarity and enlightenment are always one eyeblink away, like the wise sage Pema Chodron has noted in her book When Things Fall Apart. This session was manna to my spirit
I learned that I still having issues with sharing how I feel about something in the moment that it occurs. I need to do better with vocalizing my feelings and sharing them immediately instead of letting them dwell and fester into larger, more uncontrollable feelings that are very much unrelated to my original feelings. I will start by doing this today.

Both of these affirmations were my favorite during this session. Silently reciting those along with the other joyful affirmations in this session while slowing down my breathing was a nice break from the day. My spirit is filled with joy and gratitude. I feel grounded and reenergized.
