Step 6 - Use the F word. What is it about forgiveness that frightens us so much? Begin to see Forgiveness as a way of freeing yourself from an emotional tie to a person or situation. Forgiveness never condones another's behavior, it simply confirms that you choose to travel light and are no longer going to let it control you.

I didnโ€™t this Hawaiian practice a few years ago and it changes my life. So many things I didnโ€™t even realize I was carrying and holding on to. It was beyond liberating after the flood of tears were released. There is great power in forgiveness and once I realized I was doing it for myself and not because doing so may send a message that hurting me was ok, allowed me to let go in a healthy way and walk much lighter thru life ๐Ÿ’•
